Memories of 2018 - Literary Tourism: FRANKENSTEIN!

 I like to get close to the things I enjoy … and this year I got closer than ever before to the book Frankenstein by Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, by looking at original pages from the manuscript in her handwriting. The Morgan Library and Museum in New York City enhanced my Halloween celebrations this year with the exhibition “It’s Alive! Frankenstein at 200.” Works gathered from all over the world included those manuscript pages, first editions of the book, paintings that inspired the young writer, and rare movie posters.
