INSIDE ADIRONDACKS: CREATING THE WILD CENTER

NATURAL HISTORY IN THE MAKING!
Learn why the Adirondacks came inside!
The documentary Inside Adirondacks:  Creating the Wild Center shows how environmental activist Betsy Lowe energizes a small community to create a 30 million dollar natural history museum.  The project revitalizes a struggling town in the middle of America's largest natural park.  It also provides a home for cuddly Squeaker, an orphaned otter who can't safely return to the wild.

The program follows the progress of the natural history museum from inception to completion. The documentary highlights the architectural design and construction of the facility, as well as the exhibits and animals found inside.  The program features an exclusive interview with Senator Hillary Clinton, who attended the opening ceremonies at the Wild Center.  Click here to purchase the DVD.
